Big Springs is one of the largest springs in the country. It is the headwaters of Henry’s Fork River. More than 300 miles of trails are groomed for snowmobilers.  Warming huts are set along the way to provide  winter addicts a warm, cozy place to escape the cold. One hundred and twenty million gallons of pure water flow out of the ground here. A short distance from the clear pool is a bridge. Toss bread crumbs into the water, and you will be able to see the constant flow of the springs and the crystal clear gravel bottoms. This makes it the perfect habitat for trout, although no fishing is allowed until later down the river at Henry’s Lake.
